Steak marinade
Ingredients
- 2 cloves of Garlic
- Olive oil
- Pepper
- Herb mix
- Soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
- Butter
Tips
- place the steak in a container/bowl. I always use a cereal bowl. When you place the meat in the bowl: the marinade covers all the meat in a small space, which speeds up the marinating process.
- Garlic should be finely chopped or pounded
- pan should be very hot (oil as well)
- remember to press on the fat(if you like crispy fat)
Method
-
In a bowl mix together (2 cloves of crushed Garlic, cover meat with Olive oil, Pepper, Herb mix, 2 tablespoon Soy sauce, 2 tablespoon Oyster sauce
- Olive oil in hot pan (about 2 tablespoons depending on the size of the steak)
- place the steak and leave it for 1 minute
- flip the steak then add some butter and if you like garlic, rub garlic on the steak
- keep flipping repeatedly after one minute(from now do not add butter or garlic)
- use a sharp knife and cut into the thickest part of the steak to check if its to your liking
- don't forget to only press on the fat(crispy)
